- Your primary job was to love & care for me & protect my heart.
Instead you acted out on me & damaged me & my life.
I forgive you because I know you were a very sick person.
Your caretakers probably did the very same things to you.
I will no longer allow you or anyone to take power over me.
I will take care of that lonely little child inside of me.
I will protect myself from further harm at any & all cost.
I know what love is now & that is what I really want & need.
I will give that to myself & you can count on that.
