Multiple Addictions
Many professionals believe that very few addicts have only one addiction.

Many of the top treatment centers believe the same.

If this is so there must be something to that.

Many alcoholics, drug addicts, gambling addicts or over eaters think they only have one addiction.

Get the picture? Many recovering addicts are in denial about their other addictions which means
they are not exactly clean & sober if they are acting out in other addictions & do not know that.

This problem is thought to be the reason why very few alcoholics or drug addicts get clean & sober
& stay that way for the rest of their life.

The twelve step programs practice singularity of purpose which makes this possible.

AA only talks about alcoholism. NA only talks about drug addiction. They make it real clear their only
purpose is to help people stop drinking alcohol or using drugs. Alcohol or drugs dominates. They
consider other addictions outside issues & do not discuss them or include reference to them in their
    literature.

A lot of recovering alcoholics & drug addicts have problems with over eating, nicotine addiction or gambling.

Many of them are  sex, love, romance addicts or co-sex addicts  which causes them to experience toxic
dysfunctional dependency relationships they unconsciously enter into with victims of childhood trauma & abuse
including sexual abuse, rape, molestation or incest.

Professionals have done research that suggest 70% of the people who work twelve step recovery programs
are indeed victims of childhood trauma & abuse. Many of them have experienced past life overt or covert
sexual abuse in one form or another which sets children up to become sex, love, romance addicts or
    co-sex addicts.

The denial & delusion associated with sex, love, romance addiction & co-sex addiction is much more
powerful than it is for alcoholism or drug addiction. Many recovering alcoholics or drug addicts who are
also in recovery programs for sex, love, romance addiction or co-sex addiction will tell you their addictions
to sex, love, romance or co-sex addiction were more difficult to overcome than alcohol or drugs.
Sex, love, romance or co-sex addiction are always the very last addictions recovering alcoholics, drug addicts,
gambling addicts or over eaters self identify in themselves & this usually takes place only after they have been
in recovery programs for quite a few years.

The same problem runs with Al-Anon Meetings. They also frown on people bringing up or discussing
outside issues which only serves to help keep members of their groups in denial & delusion about other types
of problems they may have for many years to come. Up to 70% of the people in their groups are past life
trauma & abuse victims including victims of sexual abuse, rape, molestation or incest.
Many recovering people in Al-Anon have problems with gambling, over eating or sex, love, romance addiction
or co-sex addiction. Toxic dysfunctional dependency relationships bring most people through the doors of
Al-Anon. They point to alcoholism or drug addiction as the primary cause of their relationship problems.
Nothing could be further from the truth. No one is sexually attracted to alcohol or drugs. They are sexually
attracted to people who are sexually attractive to them who just happen to be alcoholics or drug addicts
among other things. Many of the men & women in Al-Anon suffer from sex, love, romance addiction or
co-sex addiction which is the primary cause of their relationship problems but they do not know that because
no one in Al-Anon talks about or discusses sex, love, romance addiction or co-sex addiction very often or at all.
